Common stonecrop is an herb. The parts of the plant that grow above the ground are used to make medicine. People take common stonecrop for coughs and high blood pressure. Common stonecrop is sometimes applied directly to the skin for wounds, burns, hemorrhoids, warts, eczema, and mouth ulcers.

CARE: Water your creeping stonecrop about once a week during the spring through fall. During the winter, cut back on watering your plants. Once every three to four weeks should be sufficient—you only want to water them enough to keep their leaves from drying out and puckering.

This plant will do well in part shade. Creeping Stonecrop do very well-drained soil.
